Thank you so much for your support @ybanezkim26. What you're saying is 100% true, a script doesn't look at names and if you make a special case for just one person you basically open Pandora's box. The fact that it is an airdrop, a gift like you say, and the same rules apply to everyone reinforces that statement.
in that extend I don't mind the exclusion as much as some of the other people's post I've read on both Hive's and Steem's block chain about being excluded.
Applying for the airdrop afterwards and having the community decide on a user by user basis is in that extend a fair solution. I'd prefer to make an appeal rather than that I'd gotten the airdrop despite not meeting the criteria. A clean slate is the healthiest start in the long run.
Thank you so much for wanting to vouch for me (but if you do, make sure to at least skim through some of my chain's past, to be sure your making the correct decision and not just trusting me on this one post). In the end I'll probably go wherever the communities go. As Vitalik Buterin said if Hive ends up outgrowing Steaam the community is in charge and cannot be bought you have the ultimate proof "the community is in charge and cannot be bought".
Thank you so much for taking the time to read into this, and stay safe :)
