While I'm with you in your thoughts about how you were excluded in the airdrop, the code does not discriminate and ignorance of the code excuses no one. Counter argument on this is that ordinary users often don't bother to inform themselves with complicated things such as governance. But I would say this is not an ordinary time. This is a time that would go down in blockchain history when the community has rallied against a central entity and successfully evaded it's grasp of power. What I'm saying is, there should be human empathy on the decision than just a pure code. That's why there's an appeal system in which you can still have your air dropped Hive tokens should the community chooses to do so.

Another thing, there's no freezing of assets in Hive. Take note that it's different in Softfork22.2 in Steem. That's a special case because of the special "ninja-mined stake" that was attached to it. This time, it's an airdrop. My analogy is that it's a gift to those who have chosen the side of "decentralization" as opposed to the side of Justin Sun. It's just sad that you were caught in an unprecedented circumstance where you were seen as one of the supporters of the "hostile takeover". The exclusion list is the result of a certain criteria that it so happened you fit in that particular criteria.

I know how you feel. I really do. I might not been included in that exclusion list, but I know how it feels to somewhat like excluded. If there's a vouching system later on, I'll vouch for you. That's after I have seen that you weren't really supportive of the hostile takeover. I think there are others like you who had been caught in the wrong side like proxying their votes on the wrong people. This will be sorted out soon. I just hope that whatever decision that would come up, it's the collective will of the community and not just a select few.
