Triple draw 2-7 is a very popular game in the mix games, that can be found in bellagio bobby room game. It is beloved by mix game players. Ever got the worst hand in poker 2-3-4-5-7, well in this game that is the best hand.
This game is usually played six handed and sometimes seven handed. Each player gets dealt five cards and flushes and straights are bad. Position is very important in this game, because it is a draw game and if you are last to act, you are able to see how many cards each player draws before you announce how many you need to draw. Some of the keys in this game is to try to play hands that contain a duece since it is the most important card in this game. 3 card wheel draws like 2,3,4 or 2,4,7 or 2,3 5 etc are hands you want to play. Hands that can get you into trouble are hands with straight draws like 3456 is not a good hand to draw at. A 2 or a 7 would make you are straight and it is a horrible hand. Basically you always bet if the players are drawing more cards then you. so if player A draws 3 cards and you draw 1 card, you should bet 100% of the time, because you dont want player A to have a free draw when you have a better draw.
The top 5 hands in this game are
23457
23467
23567
24567
23458
Its a fun game and lots of action. Another fun game to add to your home game.
