Se hace costumbre escribir un blog reflexionando sobre el día a día a tal punto que es satisfactorio hacerlo. Y encontrar una comunidad dispuesta a leer entender y seguramente dejar su opinión es aún más gratificante, saludos a todos los que forman parte de Daily Blog y a @lauramica quién lleva mas de dos años trabajando en pro de la misma (aunque hasta ahora me doy cuenta) y apenas hago mi primera publicación acá.

No me refiero a las crisis y esas cosas malas, me refiero a que vienen las elecciones.

De seguro ya les cayó mal el tema, pero déjenme compartir mi experiencia de éstos últimos días.

^{I'm sure you already feel bad about it, but let me share my experience of the last few days.}

Soy pintor muralista y artista callejero, mejor dicho Graffitero y vivo en Punta de Mata pueblito perteneciente al estado Monagas.

I am a mural painter and street artist, or rather Graffiti artist and I live in Punta de Mata a small town in the state of Monagas.

• Que tiene ésto que ver con la fecha de las elecciones, la comunidad o el echo de que sea pintor?

^{What does this have to do with the date of the election, the community or the fact that he is a painter?}

Resulta que acá los pintores (en su mayoría) son malos o simplemente ya son personas mayores y nosotros formamos hace ya varios años un colectivo cultural llamado H.U.R.T.O el cuál significa Hermanos Unidos Rayando Todo Oriente.

• It turns out that here the painters (mostly) are bad or simply old people and we formed several years ago a cultural collective called H.U.R.T.O which stands for Hermanos Unidos Rayando Todo Oriente.

Acá les puedo mostrar un poco de nuestro trabajo como colectivo organizando eventos de Rap.

Remontando al inicio dónde menciono las elecciones políticas y el trabajo de nosotros como pintores, este findesemana ha sido un poco atareado ya que nos contrataron para pintar unos murales y nosotros agradecidos accedimos sin ningún pero.

Going back to the beginning where I mention the political elections and the work of us as painters, this week has been a little busy because we were hired to paint some murals and we gratefully agreed without any buts.

El detalle es que no sabíamos que murales se harían, para nuestra sorpresa...

Nuestro grupo no apoya ningún ente político ya que ninguno de éstos nos ha brindado algún apoyo y mucho menos en el ámbito cultural pero cómo la necesidad y el estómago llaman cumplimos nuestra labor y acá les muestro un poco de éstos murales.

• Our group does not support any political entity since none of these has given us any support and much less in the cultural field but as the need and the stomach call we fulfill our work and here I show you a little of these murals.

Como ven este mural va en contra de nuestro pensamiento y arte, no tiene absolutamente nada de artístico o inspirador, simplemente publicidad política y cómo dije al principio la situación económica actual no es para nada favorable y habíamos pasado toda una semana buscando trabajo como ven en antiguos post así que prácticamente no teníamos otra opción.

As you can see this mural goes against our thinking and art, it has absolutely nothing artistic or inspiring, just political advertising and as I said at the beginning the current economic situation is not at all favorable and we had spent a whole week looking for work as you can see in old posts so we had practically no other choice.

El resultado quedó un poco lejos de lo que queríamos ya que la lluvia nos daño un poco la pintura de fondo y debimos hacer unos retoques sin embargo a todos les gustó, sin embargo sabemos que no diferencian lo que es tipografía lettering realismo o stencil, así que la dejo a su criterio.

The result was a little far from what we wanted because the rain damaged the background paint a little and we had to make some touch-ups, however everyone liked it, but we know that they do not differentiate between lettering typography, realism or stencil, so I leave it to your discretion.

• No es de mi agradó hacer éstos trabajos y menos por el precio que nos pagan.

Hasta ahora este fué el último realizado, esperamos que calme la lluvia y seguramente mañana pintaremos otro.

• Saben cuánto vale cada mural?

Yo le calculo un valor de 50$ a cada uno de éstos, a precio normal lo haria por 30$ cada uno pero nos pagarán 30$ por la semana de trabajo y me toca aceptar que peor es nada.

• ^{Do you know how much each mural is worth?}

^{I estimate a value of 50$ for each one of these, at normal price I would do it for 30$ each one but they will pay us 30$ for the week of work and I have to accept that worse is nothing.}
