Its really been an exciting time in the Leoverse with lots of interesting things happening here and there. The Adoption campaign was successfully completed. The UI has had tons of interesting features added. The Leo ads project will soon be in full swing and in preparation, everyone needs to drive traffic to their threads and rack up those page views. Now is the time to have a solid plan on how you could increase your pageviews so that you benefit from the Leo ads project.

So in this presentation, I will talk about some practical ways to drive traffic to your threads and ensure that more users are seeing and engaging with your content. Beyond helping you build an audience, its a way to help the Leo ecosystem grow.

Drive Traffic to your threads in 5 ways

• Active Networking on threads: The first and basic way to generate those page views is to be active on threads and connect with other active users. So you want to ask yourself how much threads and replies you have made today? The adoption campaign has ended, but the awareness and activity on threads has just began. So try to be active.

One thing that could help you to be active and consistent is to have a schedule. Your schedule should be realistic to reflect your current circumstances and abilities. A schedule helps you plan your day and manage your time efficiently. So in your schedule, you could have a time or times within the day that you set aside for making threads and engaging on the platform.

While it is great to expand your circle so to say, on the threads platform, network. Build some consistency with other active threaders with whom you constantly engage. In this way, you have a solid background audience that will always check out your content. This is a great way to start building the audience that will generate those valuable page views.

• Whatsapp Status Updates: Depending on where you live, WhatsApp may not be popular. But in most parts of the world, it is. And people constantly update their Whatsapp status. If you have a lot of contacts that use Whatsapp, regularly updating your [Whatsapp](@leoglossary/leoglossary-whatsapp} could be a really effective place to generate some traffic.

Personally, I have a minimum 50 persons that check my WhatsApp status updates any time I drop some content their. You could have more or less. This crowd could be utilized for traffic. When you drop links of some really valuable threads or content on your status, the crowds that you have their contact will definitely check them out. Whatever chatting application you use, utilize the status update feature and reach out to your contacts. This way, you are able to generate more page views.

• Social Media Shares: This is really an important way to generate more traffic. Utilize your social media handles to drive traffic. The best way to do this is to always share links of your posts on your social media pages. Twitter is a popular micro-blogging platform for example. So you could make it a practice to always share links on Twitter. Of course, you want to do this in a moderate way. If you share too much links, your followers might loose interest in your content.

But basically, all your social media pages should be avenues to reach out to a new audience and get them to view your content on threads.

• Inner circle: You inner circle could be large or small, but they still make up a considerable traffic for your content. So start from your close friends, family members, schoolmates, workmates, and others. Maybe you could take a look again at your contact list and see who you might want to reach out to.

You inner circle might still include your clients/customers or people that provide services that you use such as your hairstylist, favorite shop, etc. When you try to check your inner circle, you could take advantage of their number and show them your content on threads.

• Referrals: The friends of your friends could be another large market for your content. The importance of referrals in network marketing cannot be over-emphasized. So reach out to your friends and let them know about your content on Threads. If they enjoy it, you could then tactfully ask if their friends would like it too. Through their approval, you could still include their friends as part of those that will enjoy your content. Try to utilize referrals very well, you you could have another opportunity to reach out to a fresh audience for more page views.
