18 friends spent a total of 76 HBD in ShokiN Day 2!

Today marked the second day of our group shopping activity and it was really massive. I personally didnt see this huge turn-out, but it only shows how much value SpendHBD is already creating in my city Aba, Nigeria.

A total of 18 persons were present to shop as one group of friends. At the end of the day, we spent 76 HBD within a 2-hour shopping period. It was fun, and time to network with friends from all over the city.

From Workshop to ShokiN

It started at 11am when few of the friends where available for the workshop which was hosted in my office by @bummblebee. I actually helped him by making a part of the presentation. In my own part, I gave good overview of Hive and Hive Dollar which prepared the newbies to better understand what SpendHBD is all about. After talking for 20 minutes, I invited @bummblebee who took over and finished up the presentation. He will later make a more detailed post about it as the host.

Once we are done with the presentation, I helped him set up the account of the 3 newbies present. Then we demonstrated how to scan codes to pay with HBD. After that, we took group pictures and headed out for ShoKiN day 2. Here are some pictures we took at my office

Visiting Gods Own Supermarket for ShokiN day 2

Having announced in our group chat that ShoKiN day2 will happen today, many of our old users responded. Together with the 3 newbies that signed up, we have total of 18 persons that participated in the group shopping activity. Below are the usernames of those that came:

We went to God's Own Supermarket which was a store I listed few days ago. That was where we did the shopping activity. Everything went smoothly and within 2 hours, we have spent a total of 76 HBD. The store owner was super excited and told me she will refer many customers to sign up for the project. At the end, it was a super successful out where many friends were made in addition to rewards for spending HBD.

Day 3 should be even bigger

ShoKiN day 3 will happen in a week's time and it promises to be huge. I will travel in two days time and be back by Sunday to prepare for the 3rd day of ShoKiN. Many newbies will be invited to join in addition to the old friends. ShoKiN will turn out to be a Lifestyle, a project that is already changing the history of Shopping in Nigeria.

Our group account @shokin will later make a post which would be a timestamp of our activities for today and it will continue henceforth. I encourage all our friends that joined us today to be here next week. We are ready to break the record we set today. Hopefully, we will visit another new shop and create awareness about this project.

I really feel that SpendHBD and ShoKiN will transform how we view spending and shopping. I always feel bullish about the opportunity. Lets grab it with both hands and lead the mass adoption of Hive in Nigeria. Shall we?????
