I'm on-call for the Easter weekend which means I'm working over the next four days at the Water Treatment Plant

So this morning I was walking from the Chlorine Building to the Control Room when I spotted a feathered friend on the Filter Deck...
Not unusual to see pigeons here, but what caught my attention was how it acted
Generally, these birds fly away long before a person could get as close as I was
But this one was different; unconcerned that I was standing about arm's length away and seeming curious
That's when I noticed the blue band around it's leg
Maybe someone else could tell me more, but I suppose this is a homing or racing pigeon?
It was certainly very comfortable around people
