One of my favorite games personally is Risk of Rain 2 and I feel like it does not get enough credit for how much fun it is.
I can spend hours every day just jumping and killing monsters in a game that while starting calm but getting harder with each passing moment.
Although I am approaching 100 hours of play and tens of thousands of dead monsters I am starting to feel an exhaustion of the existing content in the game but just before I give up and leave it to my mind the developers of the game reveal new details about the upcoming expansion.
In a video uploaded yesterday by the developers to YouTube, they reveal a lot of details and gameplay from the new expansion that will be called Survivors of the Void.
The new expansion will reach us on March 1 at a launch price of $ 9.75 and then cost $ 15.
Survivors of the Void will bring us a new character named Railgunner and as can be understood from his name he will be equipped with a Railgun rifle.
As might be expected, the Railgunner is a character designed for long-range combat when equipped with a sniper who can display the weaknesses of enemies and hit them will ensure Critical Strike.
Next to the sniper called M99 will be at your disposal the XQR which is designed for short range with fast fire rate and bullets that chase enemies.
The Railgunner's gadget is a grenade that will repel everything around it and can also be used as a jumper.
Finally the Railgunner's special ability is a shot from the sniper that will do 4000% damage but prevent the use of weapons for a few seconds.
As mentioned, the Survivors of the Void expansion will reach us on March 1st.
