Este martes 22 de marzo celebramos ''El Día Internacional del Agua'', nuestra Localidad se encuentra ubicada y nacida desde el Río Colorado, nuestra realidad no escapa al mundo y estos lobbies que manejan los recursos naturales a beneficios propios como así también siglos alambrando tierras...
Río Colorado hoy está sufriendo una de las máximas crisis hídricas y sumando que sigue llevándose entre silencios la construcción de una represa '' Portezuelo del Viento en manos de Mendoza, lo cual sería nuestra sentencia a quedarnos sin Río, eso llevaría al éxodo de la mayoría de nuestros habitantes dado que somos una Ciudad-Pueblo que vive de tierras productivas en su mayor porcentaje; Hoy la calidad de agua es intomable, mañana si se construye la represa ni siquiera tendremos Agua.
Es por eso que existen Asambleas de distintos lugares en Argentina que luchan por nuestros derechos: Si al Agua, No a la Megamineria, No a las Represas, Si al Medio Ambiente _ Siempre Movilizándose!

Río Colorado today is suffering one of the greatest water crises and adding that the construction of a dam "Portezuelo del Viento" in the hands of Mendoza continues to be carried out in silence, which would be our sentence to be left without the River, that would lead to the exodus of the majority of our inhabitants given that we are a City-Town that lives on productive land in its greatest percentage; Today the quality of water is unbearable, tomorrow if the dam is built we will not even have water.
That is why there are Assemblies from different places in Argentina that fight for our rights: Yes to Water, No to Mega Mining, No to Dams, Yes to the Environment _ Always Mobilizing!
