Göbeklitepe is located in Şanlı Urfa province in Turkey's Southeastern Anatolia.
This historical place, which is defined as the temple that changed the course of history, is considered the oldest and largest temple known in the world. Göbeklitepe also determined the effect of religious belief on the transition to settled life.
The finds unearthed by excavating only a part of it have turned the Neolithic period upside down. Göbeklitepe has been recorded as the oldest belief center, as well as the oldest settlement, that is, a cult area.
Göbeklitepe, the first settlement in human history, entered the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2018.
Obelisks stand out here. Most of the obelisks have human, animal or abstract symbols.
It is very important to visit a historical center such as Göbekli Tepe and understand the history there. I think it is a must visit place.

Tarihin akışını değiştiren tapınak olarak tanımlanan bu tarihi mekan dünyanın bilinen en eski ve en büyük tapınağı sayılır.Göbeklitepe ile dinsel inanışın yerleşik yaşama geçişteki etkisine de saptanmıştır.
Sadece bir bölümünün kazılmasıyla elde edilen buluntular neolitik dönemi alt üst etmiştir. Göbeklitepe'de yapılan araştırmalarla en eski inanç merkezi ünvanın yanında en eski yerleşim yeri yani kült alanı olarak da kayıtlara geçmiştir.
İnsanlık tarihinin ilk yerleşim yeri olan Göbeklitepe 2018 yılında UNESCO Dünya Mirası Listesi'ne girdi.
Burada dikili taşlar dikkat çekmektedir. Dikili taşların çoğunda insan, hayvan yada soyut semballer vardır.
Göbekli tepe gibi tarihi bir merkezi gezmek, oradaki tarihi anlamak oldukça önemlidir. Gezilmesi, görülmesi gereken bir yer olduğunu düşünüyorum.
