If your kids cannot swallow pills (actually, my 11 yo boy cannot either...), you need to tell the doctor to prescribe the solution or suspension.
Then ask about flavoring meds when you go to the pharmacy to pick up meds. Any flavors your kids like.
Many antibiotic suspensions have bitter taste, yucky even though some manufacturers already did flavor treatment.
I believe it charges you $2.99 at CVS, Walgreens and most of pharmacies.
It would be much better than kids vomit or spill meds while struggling to feed, you or pharmacy need to call the doctor to get another presciptions, deal with insurance again etc...
