Human psychology is a little bit hard to understand some times.
IF there were a “buy one get one sale” at your local food store or a 50% Off sale at your favorite store — people get all excited and buy.
BUT in the world of crypto’s — when there is a sale of 50% people are “unwilling to think the same” — or I should say most people are that way. They would rather buy when the price is going up and making new highs everyday.
It’s like when the stock market melts up and all the FACTS show “insiders—corporate executives” selling their stocks and normal joes are late to the party and left holding the bag when it the market tanks.
For crypto holders who have a long term vision, this is a crappy every 4-5 month painful decline, but you hodl and gut it out. The remarkable thing is how short these dips are becoming. We all learn along the way.
For those that are nervous, maybe it’s a call “to learn and research” and get a “comfort level” or knowing of what “you think” should happen so when it does happen again —- and it will — you feel strong in your convictions.
My belief is people in this movement collectively want to diversify their risk in this investment. Last time I looked, the stock market is the bubble. Last time I looked, the dollar is the global reserve currency that no will have such status over time. And the bond market —- who would ever “lock up” your money for a 2.5% return each year for 10 years — really?
The US and other countries actually are more favorable crypto environments than some countries — and this is a good thing for people in those countries. Japan saw the advantages and has a huge headstart over others. If dictators want to limit this technology from it’s people —- well you know how that might turn out —- they can see others progressing and being rewarded and they may be restricted or not able to protect themselves ?
There will be stops and starts along the way with country crypto’s but sooner or later it will be a domino effect as “paper squares with ink on them” are no longer trusted as they once were.
And last but not least ....this is the history of quality crypto’s ....have a great 2018 :-)
