Now in Autumn there are days when there are only a few birds around and it is usually a little bit more difficult to find them for some photography, this is why I often decide to do some Scouting for new Places I want to visit in Spring when the better part of the bird migration will happen. During these trips I search for possible spots that I can visit next spring and I mark them on my Google Maps so I can find them next year in Spring again. I hope some of these places are good for some bird photography but at least they look promising from what I can tell now. A lot of sand, little vegetation and shalloow water, perfect for waders that search for small insects in the shallow water.

But since I was there and I rarely could see any birds I was a bit dissapointed. Because now in Autumn there should still be some migratory birds that could rest here, but It seems like there was none of them here. Maybe I was too early, too late. I am not really sure, maybe this spot is even not so good.. We'll see next spring.
