During my several trips to the mountains, may it be hiking trips or trips where I only drove with my car I took several nice pictures of mountain tops that are cover in snow during summer. The combination of the the white snowy mountains with the blue sky wand some clouds in the background is something that really pleases my eyes. For example the mountain top in the first pictures with the snow and the rough black parts and the beautiful blue in the background is something that I really like.
This can be such a beautiful scene. But when there are dark and rainy clouds hanging in the mountains I am happy when I am near a shelter or mountain hut that keeps me safe. Bad weather in the mountains can be really dangerous and I often have to turn around and decent to the valley when I withnessed some dark clouds coming up. Better to be safe.
Hiking with an heavy camera backpack and a lot of water and proviant for the hike is always connected with a lot of effort. And the last year I had to admit that it was sometimes a bit too much for me since I gathered a few extra kilos of weight. But I am working on it to gain back my old strenght for some more trips either this year or in the short future. I expect some nice trips this year in spring with Patrick and Stefan and hopefully a lot of intersting picture motives.
