Last month i had the luck that i could watch some waterbirds the "great crested Grebe" doing their mating and nest building on a lake nearby Linz. I think that these are very beautiful waterbirds and if you have the luck seeing them doing their mating dance it is something special. Together with Stefan i hid near the river and we waited for some action from the birds. I can tell you we where not dissapointed this day.
In my opinion the great crested grebe is a very beautiful waterbird and since it is not that shy you can probably take some nice pictures of them if you have enough patience. I am already looking forward taking some pictures of their children. :-) Now they should already be born so i need to visit this place very soo again.
