Back in 2021 I spend a lot of time during spring photographing birds and other animals. At the Weikerlsee near Linz I was able to take a lot of pictures of birds that live there. One of these birds species is the Goosander. They prefer water that is not so much moving like in a river especially when the children are still young.

The goosanders are more or less common here and from time to time I get to see one or two birds. During spring it is possible to find a family like this on ponds and lakes.
