First signs of spring - Spring Snowflakes

Today I visited the Wetlands of the Inn River together with Stefan again for some photography of birds, and we were lucky again and took several picture of nice birds. But since I showed you so many pictures of birds and animals the last week I want to show you some first signs of Spring flowers that grow here in Upper Austria. You will get to see some nice bird pictures probably tomorrow. Today I want to show you some spring snowflakes that I found these days. Although we have already the end of March there are still only very few flowers here in Linz, and it was a bit difficult to find some of the few that already grow here. I can remember last year at the end of March there were already a lot more different flowers growing here.

Maybe because it was still pretty cold the last weeks everything takes a bit longer to grow. But now the time with all the nice flowers is coming, and I need to take my Macro Lens more often with me. Experimenting with flower and insect photos will probably be a main photography topic in the next time. Of course, I can't stop taking pictures of birds because this is still my favorite type of picture. Some friends of me took already a lot of very beautiful flowers in Vienna. Unfortunately they don't grow or still don't grow here in Linz. So I probably need to visit Vienna for some Macro Photography soon. But this may not be possible because of the COVID-19 Lockdown that is in place there in Vienna.
