Since it is time for the migratory birds to come back to Austria or for some of them to stay for a short visit during bird migration, I need to regulary check spots where I assume that I can find some birds on their transit to the north. I am already looking forward to meet the little ringed plovers there since they are so nice to photograph when they come really close to you as soon as they are used to your presence and then I can get some more nice pictures of them. In the next few weeks it is probably the best time of the year for some photography of migratory birds here.

And also a good indicator for a great spot for me is of course alse the distance, because I want some spots that are pretty close to me and where I don't need to drive so far to reach them.
