My brother found an European Mantis in his garden and I had to take some pictures of this beautiful insect. I was visiting my brother for the weekend and helped him with something when we found this beautiful european mantis in between his vegetable plot. It was probably hunting there for some other insects that could be found there. It is an Insect that is usually difficult to find here, but since he as such a large amount of different vegetables, vegetation, sheep and chicken, there are a lot of different species attracted to his garden.
My garden is also getting better and better and I hope when I have the raised bed for vegetables and my parts of the garden that I don't mow I can attract some nice interesting insects as well. Like the European Stag beetle that was here this summer.
