Black storks looking for easy prey

In Lower Austria Stefan and I found a nice nature reserve that is basically a medium sized lake with shallow water. It is a perfect spot for birds and especially birds that are drawn to water. On our walk to the lake we found this family of black storks looking for food in the shallow water. They prefer frogs and snakes that can be found there in huge numbers. It is always nice to watch these birds searching through the shallow water and from time to time take a snack onf a frog or a snake.

One thing that is a bit annoying at this spot is that there were always a lot of mosquitoes when we visited it. And therefore we often couldn't stay very long there otherwise we would have been eaten by the mosquitoes.
