La importancia de dejar que los niños disfruten su mundo [ESP-ENG]

Hola, amigos de @motherhood Espero que estén teniendo una semana maravilloso.

Aprovechando estos días libres por las vacaciones me puse de acuerdo con una prima de mi hija Gabriela la cual tiene una niña y últimamente se ha vuelto la compañera incondicional de mi hija, así que las llevamos al parque. Sentía que necesitaban un espacio para desconectarse, jugar y simplemente ser niñas. Desde que llegamos, sus caritas se iluminaron. El parque tenía tantas actividades que parecía imposible elegir por dónde empezar.

Pasaron por la zona de colorear, luego por los videojuegos, después se disfrazaron, jugaron en en modular y terminaron construyendo mundos imaginarios con los Legos. Cada rincón despertaba una emoción distinta.

Hubo algo que me llamó especialmente la atención y era un carro que se convertía en una casita rodante. Tenía todo adentro, desde una pequeña cocina hasta un área para jugar a la tiendita. Verlas, explorar y crear historias ahí fue un momento que me alegro el corazón. No hay nada más bonito que observar cómo los niños transforman cualquier espacio en un universo propio.

Para completar la tarde, llegó otra prima con sus dos niños pequeños y la alegría se multiplicó. Estábamos todos juntos, compartiendo risas, fotos, conversaciones y esa sensación de bienestar que solo se siente cuando los niños están disfrutando de verdad. Me encantó verlos tan felices, tan libres, tan conectados entre ellos.

Este tipo de experiencias me recuerdan lo importante que es ofrecerles ambientes agradables, seguros y estimulantes. Los parques no son solo lugares de juego; son espacios donde los niños aprenden a compartir, a convivir, a imaginar y a relacionarse. Son momentos que fortalecen vínculos familiares y crean recuerdos que se quedan para siempre.

Taking advantage of these days off for the holidays, I made plans with a cousin of my daughter Gabriela—who has a little girl and has recently become my daughter’s best friend—so we took them to the park. I felt they needed a space to unwind, play, and just be kids. As soon as we arrived, their little faces lit up. The park had so many activities that it seemed impossible to choose where to start.

They went to the coloring area, then to the video games, then dressed up, played on the play structure, and ended up building imaginary worlds with Legos. Every corner sparked a different emotion.

There was something that really caught my attention: a cart that turned into a little playhouse on wheels. It had everything inside, from a small kitchen to a play-store area. Watching them, exploring, and making up stories there was a moment that warmed my heart. There’s nothing more beautiful than watching children transform any space into a world of their own.

To round out the afternoon, another cousin arrived with her two young children, and the joy multiplied. We were all together, sharing laughter, photos, conversations, and that sense of well-being you only feel when children are truly enjoying themselves. I loved seeing them so happy, so free, so connected to one another.

Experiences like this remind me how important it is to provide them with pleasant, safe, and stimulating environments. Parks aren’t just places to play; they’re spaces where children learn to share, get along, use their imagination, and build relationships. These are moments that strengthen family bonds and create memories that last a lifetime.
