Hello my dear friends of laughter I greet you hoping you are very well and can enjoy this anecdote that I always say How did that happen to me! and if someone feels identified please SAY SO I don't want to be the only one with this shame. I had been trying to tell this story for a while, until the opportunity was given there it goes.

It has happened to many of us that when we go to meet our partner's family, what stories come out: that if I covered the bathroom, the food fell badly, the dress broke, I even met a girl who had gone out before with the brother of the one who was now her boyfriend, total disaster!

In my case, the story was that when I met this guy's family, they accepted me on the first visit. In spite of the short time they called me, they greeted me, I went to family birthdays, we shared a Sunday, in short, everything was going very, very well.

The family of the boy involved was very cheerful; every weekend without the need for any specific celebration, they would get together to share with other family members, friends, neighbors and always went out to make a barbecue! Let's buy beer! and all those things that enlivened the day or night differently.

Since I was new in that family, they didn't know that I didn't know how to cook, because when you are new, you are taken care of and I was always cautious and didn't even offer to help in the kitchen.

That night of the barbecue, I think it was the excitement or nervousness that accompanied with many new friends and people wanting to get to know me, I did some very embarrassing things.

The first was that I made a double entendre comment to the boy's brother! Imagine, I made it look in front of ALL THE FRIENDS AND FAMILIARS like I wanted something with his brother, when in fact I did not. Well, to get rid of that embarrassing moment, I was asked to help in the kitchen and I ran out, almost falling, but it was either that or I had to stay and clarify my comment, which honestly there was no way to accommodate.

Arriving in the kitchen, I find the pieces of meat and was asked to chop them up for serving. I had never minced meat in my life, so it was a battle between that piece, the knife and me. I even dropped pieces and as best I could I picked them up and put them back in the container (kids don't do this at home).

When I finished all the meat, I said to myself: this lacks salt. At that moment the boy came and I made the comment, he answered me: add salt.

I DROPPED THE SALT CONTAINER IN THE MEAT!

Fortunately there was not much salt left, but it was salt at last, and because it was a lot of meat, I sprinkled it enough. I thought about washing it but then I said that it could damage it. Pretending that nothing had happened and convinced that everything was fine, that since they were drunk they would not notice, I began to serve it on plates and deliver it.

The response was immediate: they spat, threw it away and complained why it was so salty.

I had no choice but to make my confession of what had happened to the meat. Some ate it, others cleaned it, because they would not throw it away since it was too much food. So they began to laugh, accompanied it with something sweet and from that moment on, I was not allowed to enter the kitchen, even if I was offering myself! NOT EVEN TO LOOK.

I hope that if you have similar anecdotes, let me know, because how ugly it would be if I am the only one who damaged the weekend of those people the time I met them.

The images have their source. I did the separator and cover in canvas.

And thanks to the friends of this wonderful initiative who can participate by entering this link to tell us their best anecdote in #ComedyOpenMic
