隆Hola! Mis queridos amigos les saludo esperando que se encuentren muy bien y todo marche excelente en sus vidas.
Esta visita que traigo a continuaci贸n, la realic茅 hace un tiempo a La Casa de la Cultura de Guanta
Hello, my dear friends, I greet you and hope that you are well and that everything is going well in your lives. This visit that I bring below, I made some time ago to The house of culture of Guanta.
Resulta que por mi trabajo, puedo dar formaciones en muchas empresas; por ejemplo, hoy puedo estar en la polic铆a y ma帽ana en la empresa petrolera. As铆 de vers谩til es mi trabajo.
Bueno, este d铆a mi asignaci贸n fue dictar una formaci贸n para el equipo administrativo de la alcald铆a y el espacio prestado fue La Casa de la Cultura "Cacique Toronoima".
Es de resaltar que lleva ese nombre no porque el cacique danzara o hiciera maquillaje art铆stico 馃ぃsino porque es de la ciudad y es muy interesante la forma como se defendi贸 de los espa帽oles cuando llegaron a nuestras tierras,

It turns out that because of my job, I can give trainings in many companies; for example, today I can be in the police and tomorrow I can be in the oil company. That's how versatile my job is. Well, this day my assignment was to give a training for the administrative team of the mayor's office and the space lent was the house of culture "Cacique Toronoima". It should be noted that it bears this name not because the cacique danced or did artistic make-up 馃ぃ but because he is from the city and it is very interesting how he defended himself from the Spaniards when they came to our land.
Es interesante saber como en un municipio, estan abocados a tener un espacio dedicado a toda la cultura y sus cultores (personas que muestran sus diferentes artes), y donde se le rinde homenaje a cada uno de ellos.
Esta funcionando desde 2021, gracias a un decreto de la municipalidad debido a la necesidad que se presentaba de tener un espacio donde puedan ensayar, guardar sus instrumentos y poder poner sus talentos al servicio de la comunidad ya que se dan clases en diferentes categor铆as para las personas interesadas en la comunidad.
It is interesting to know how in a municipality, they are dedicated to have a space dedicated to all the culture and its artists (people who show their different arts), and where tribute is paid to each one of them. It has been functioning since 2021, thanks to a decree of the municipality due to the need to have a space where they can rehearse, store their instruments and be able to put their talents at the service of the community since classes are given in different categories for people interested in the community.
Una de las cosas que m谩s me gust贸 fue el establecimiento de reglas. Aunque se supone que es sobreentendido que al estar en un sitio p煤blico y que es considerado un bien de la naci贸n todos deber铆an comportarse y cuidar el espacio, y lamentablemente eso no sucede, deben dejar claro sus normas; creo que una de las mas importante es la 3 porque hasta resaltada con amarillo esta, me imagino que pueden ser muy bailarines pero en comportamiento tienen cero y por eso se les recuerda deben respetar los espacios馃槓.
Tambi茅n me gust贸 que tienen la solicitud de un permiso para poder acceder a las intalaciones y as铆 poder llevar un control de sus actividades 隆20 puntos por eso! porque todo debe tener un orden y organizaci贸n para que puedan cuidar las instalaciones.
One of the things I liked the most was the establishment of rules. Although it is supposed to be understood that being in a public place and considered a national asset, everyone should behave and take care of the space, and unfortunately that does not happen, they should make their rules clear; I think one of the most important is number 3 because it is even highlighted in yellow, I imagine they can be very good dancers but they should respect the spaces. I also liked that they have to ask for a permit to be able to access the facilities so they can keep track of their activities. 20 points for that! because everything must have order and organisation so that they can take care of the facilities.
Lo que pude ver (o fotografiar) fue solo parte de su primer piso, ya que los salones estaban cerrados y debido a las reglas, no pod铆a entrar en uno sin previa autorizaci贸n.
Sus pasillo son muy limpios y ordenados, adem谩s de que cuentan con algunos cuadros que expandieron mi conocimiento al enterarme que la cultura no es solo baile o canto tradicional, sino que hay expresiones art铆sticas, tambi茅n lo que llamamos patrimonio de la humanidad inmateriales como expresiones de alguna celebraci贸n en particular y que en conclusi贸n, el arte encierra muchas cosas y muchas maneras de mostrarlos:
What I could see (or photograph) was only part of the first floor, as the halls were closed and due to the rules, I could not enter one without prior authorisation. Its corridors are very clean and tidy, in addition to having some paintings that expanded my knowledge when I learned that culture is not only traditional dance or song, but that there are artistic expressions, also what we call immaterial patrimony of humanity as expressions of a particular celebration and that in conclusion, art contains many things and many ways of showing them:
En las fotograf铆as se puede apreciar lo que dije anteriormente, que la cultura no solo abarca un baile en espec铆fico sino la pintura, ebanisteria, manifestaciones culturales que vienen desde nuestros ind铆genas, festivales de m煤sica llanera y hasta una persona que se dedique a exaltar todos esos valores, como fue la se帽ora Alicia Martinez (qui茅n fue declarada patrimonio cultural) es catalogada como cultura por su contribuci贸n a que se mantuvieran las tradiciones en ese municipio.
All铆 tambi茅n funciona una escuela de steel band, coros municipales, bailarines de todos los ritmos, compositores, cantautores, declamadores, galeronistas (m煤sica t铆pica de la regi贸n), personas que colaboran con el carnaval, artistas que participan en actividades religiosas como navidad y la semana mayor que conforman m谩s de 400 personas form谩ndose y transmitiendo sus conocimientos a otras personas para que se mantenga el movimiento.
In the photographs you can see what I said before, that culture does not only include a specific dance but also painting, carpentry, cultural manifestations that come from our indigenous people, llanera music festivals and even a person who is dedicated to exalt all these values, as was Mrs. Alicia Martinez (who was declared cultural heritage) is catalogued as culture for her contribution to maintain the traditions in this municipality. There is also a steel band school, municipal choirs, dancers of all rhythms, composers, songwriters, declamators, galeronistas (typical music of the region), people who collaborate with the carnival, artists who participate in religious activities such as Christmas and the major week that make up more than 400 people training and transmitting their knowledge to other people so that the movement is maintained.
Este fue el espacio que nos prestaron para el taller que es el escenario donde se llevan los grandes eventos dentro de esta casa. Tiene escaleras, donde permiten sentarse m谩s personas. Es de forma ovalada (me explicaron que por la ac煤stica) y hace mucho fr铆o, as铆 que esta muy bien acondicionado para cuando se suben los 谩nimos por el baile en el recinto 馃槉. Lamento que en algunas partes este algo deteriorada, y pienso que con la colaboraci贸n de todos y la autogesti贸n podr铆an tener un espacio mas bonito y limpio.
This was the space that was lent to us for the workshop which is the stage where the big events are held in this house. It has stairs, where more people can sit. It is oval in shape (they explained to me that this is for acoustics) and it is very cold, so it is very well conditioned for when the spirits are raised by the dancing in the enclosure 馃槉. I regret that in some parts it is a bit deteriorated, and I think that with everyone's collaboration and self-management they could have a nicer and cleaner space.
Esta fue la comida ofrecida ese d铆a, para culminar el taller con la promesa de volver a esos espacios y yo poder mostrarles un poco m谩s de esta casa donde esta a la orden para hacer cualquier evento de nuestra gran colmena #HIVE 隆Anoten datos!馃槑.

As铆 culmino la presentaci贸n de este espacio cultural que aunque est谩 un poco descuidado, quiero resaltar que su personal es super atento y dispuesto a las propuestas que son presentadas, as铆 como ayudar a prestar los espacios para quien lo necesite.

This is the culmination of the presentation of this cultural space which, although it is a little neglected, I would like to emphasise that its staff is very attentive and willing to the proposals that are presented, as well as helping to lend the spaces to those who need them.
