My First Homemade "Kutsinta"

Sorry for not always passing by, because Im too busy now with my online business. I really need a time management.From my work, business, home and something else. And since I have a free time, ofcourse I do need a free time😊lol☺ I've made a "Kutsinta". It's my first time making of it and thankfully it's not epic/failed this time. Because as you remember all my first were failed. So now let's start making it. Here are the ingredients needed and steps.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup Cassava Starch
  • 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 6 tbsp.Washed Sugar/brown/white granulated
  • 1 tsp. Atsuete seeds
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp. pandan flavor
  • 1 tsp.lye water
  • grated coconut(for toppings)

PROCEDURE:

1.In a small bowl put the 1 tsp.atsuete seeds and pour 1 tsp hot water. Mix it and set it aside.

2.Get another bowl and pour 3/4 cup warm water into it.

3.Put the washed sugar and mixed until it dissolved.

4.Pour the 1 tsp pandan flavor and 1 tsp lye water and mixed.

5.Put the Cassava Starch and all purpose flour one at a time.

6.Get the atsuete and get a strainer before pouring it then mixed again.

7.Mixed until it became smooth.

8.Get another bowl to strain the bubbles before pouring in a molder.

9.Pour the kutsinta mixture in a molder

10.Put it into the steamer.

11.Steam for 25-30 mins. or until it cooked. To check if it is okay use a toothpick and if it comes out clean then it's okay.

12.Once it is cooked removed it in the steamer and let it cool for a minute.

13.After a minute and its not already hot removed it in the molder.

14.Get the grated coconut and put it on top of it.

15.Taste and Serve

Thats it everyone. So easy and the ingredients are not so expensive.😊😊😊 In this mixture I yields 10 pcs of it. My sister leehon@leehon and our little boy so loved it.

Look at the plate were I put the kutsinta this little boy ate it all.☺lol😊 By looking at him enjoying eating I can say that my first homemade kutsinta was really good and yummy deliciouso.😋😘😊
