Today I wanted to talk to you about a topic that is not Christmas at all but that lately has me very interested and it is about the means of transportation that will prevail in the future. Let's hope in the near future.
Technological advances go in many ways but unfortunately my favorite, teletransportation, is not that advanced so I will stick with the two most likely in the medium term.
The first would be autonomous driving. This is a technology that will even change the appearance of automobiles. But above all how we use them. With the introduction of AI and its learning algorithms added to the sensors to perceive the environment, they will make our movements much more efficient. Which will free up time to carry out other more desired tasks.
The second would be magnetic levitation trains. This technology is called to revolutionize medium and long-haul transportation. Its technological system avoids friction and with that several things are achieved. Until now unimaginable speeds of up to 600 km/h should have lower energy consumption than current trains and, in theory, cleaner. They will also be more comfortable since there is no friction and they should be soft and silent.
I think these will be the transports that will prevail in the medium term, although there are others knocking on the door. Personally, I dream that teleportation will one day become a reality.
