Hello Hivians, how are you today? I wanted to reflect in this article on something that has been talked about a lot lately. AI and Robots are going to make the human species extinct.

This is obviously not true and everyone knows it. It doesn't take much thought to realize that this is absolute nonsense.
So where does all this current of opinion come from?

First of all, we must ask ourselves who loses in the short term with the introduction of a technology. No one likes to see our jobs or livelihood threatened in the short term. Then there is capital, which is very versatile. On the one hand, they are looking for new market niches, but on the other, someone who has a monopoly does not want a new technology to take away their privilege that they have worked so hard to achieve.

In second place are those who make money from stories. Journalists, writers, screenwriters, etc. The objective of these people is to make money, not to create logical thinking that helps the progress of humanity. If they think something will catch your attention, they will write about it. It doesn't matter if the world is going to end due to a meteorite, a zombie epidemic, an alien invasion or the revelation of an AI (Terminator), they will do what is necessary for you to pay the entrance fee.

In last place are the conspiracy theorists. He is a type of person neither better nor worse than anyone else. His vision of life is sometimes useful and sometimes not. These are the ones who keep the fire burning when previous utilitarians lose enthusiasm.
