The world is a stage,
we are the players,
dreams were just advertisement of future products which solely depended on the acceptability of the individuals and achieving of the goal advertised.

I grew up with this ideology
The only thing which remained of me were doubts, leftovers of countless wants and prayers
but as I studied economics
I understood that our wants are unlimited and it tried at least to help me believe that life wasn’t being unfair to me
to an extent.

Sailing on the ship of insecurity
edge to edge on a two-edged sword,
Is it the concision of my youthful age, conflict of ideas, or some other discord.

Confusion, disillusion and delusion powered my ship of insecurities
as I covered miles in these pitch black darkness
stumbling coupled with time’s interference
just attuning to the lanes which are strange to me, marked by bright bioluminescence trees.

It was a supplementary plan
To go rebel after I do it for a specific time period
However NO, all those attractive and shiny signs had excavated deterrent
Fathomed, still, waiting for a marvelous event that would manifest the supernatural act of a divine agent -A miracle I’d say, to save me from this trouble

I just let it slide and take an unplanned turn
I feel the fear in my bones like iced water running through my spine,
but I embrace it and let it burn the textiles of fear and defeat, make it turn into ashes and disappear in the smoke.

After all these, I still accept as true
that this world we live in is staged and we are just like players who do not know the fate of our play.

I have felt pain and comfort
I’ve seen the beautiful and the ugly
Heard the soothing and the squeaky
These are made available for the players on the stage and the play to be successful and still go on.

Life is fair,
And we’ve all experienced evil and good,
Just like yin and yang,
to sustain balance in the world.

P.S: I believe in miracles
Do you ?
