Cryptocurrency in Russia will gain legal ground. The draft law regarding regulation of cryptocurrency operations was developed by ANO Robot Law, Voronkov Ventures and Heads Consulting and sent to Anatoly Aksakov, the head of the State Duma Financial Market Committee and Martin Shakkum, chairman of the expert council on legislative support of financial technologies. The document provides basic legal norms and principles for the circulation of digital money in the country, as well as mechanisms for ICO. Its authors also propose to create a state exchange of the digital currency, where the main currency will be a CryptoRuble. Experts, however, are still skeptical about the submitted legislative initiative, calling it raw.
