Lots of dandelions and dandelion clocks in our local field β˜€οΈ

As a working mother I have always suffered some guilt from balancing work and childcare responsibilities but with the lockdown it is much worse πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’» The children both want my attention and I am driven to distraction whilst I try and work πŸ‘¦πŸ»πŸ§’πŸ»

The compromise I have reached is to homeschool my son while I work in the morning, go for a local walk with my family during the day, eat lunch together and finish work by 4pm. My daughter gets my undivided attention on Friday mornings and the rest of the weekend is family time only.

My son’s mood has been poor this week along with the wet and stormy weather and so I’ve set up lots of zoom calls with his friends in the hope that it will restore his equilibrium 🌈

I continue to practise yoga and yoga nidra most evenings whilst my daughter climbs all over me πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
