We have followed the tradition of having Santa visit and deliver presents while our kids sleep on Xmas Eve night.
However, it has been pointed out that some kids will be sad when they discover that Santa has not visited or Santa has not left them the toys and gadgets that their friends have received.
Christmas has become so commercial, and in Britain this year, so political with a General Election and Brexit looming.
We are planning a quiet Christmas this year, home alone as a family,
