Old Age Home
လူအို႐ုံ
After his father's death, the son decided to leave his mother at an old age home and visited her on and off.
အေဖဆုံးသြားေတာ့ သားျဖစ္သူက အေမ့ကို (လူအို႐ုံ)သက္ႀကီးရြယ္အို အိမ္မွာ ထားဖို႔ ဆုံးျဖတ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ မၾကာခဏလည္း အေမ့ဆီအလည္အ ပတ္သြားခဲ့ပါတယ္။
One day he received a call from the old age home.
"Your mom is very serious. Please come and visit her"
တစ္ေန႔ေတာ့ သက္ႀကီးရြယ္အိုအိမ္က ေန သူ႔ဆီ ဖုန္းလာခဲ့တယ္။ "သင့္အေမ က်န္းမားေရးအေျခအေန ဆိုးေနတယ္။ ေက်းဇူးျပဳ၍ လာလည္ ပါအုန္း။"
So the son went and saw that his mom was very critical and on her dying bed.
သားက သြားေရာက္ခဲ့ၿပီး အေမကို ကုတင္ေပၚမွာလွဲေနၿပီး အရမ္းေနမ ေကာင္းမွန္း ေတြ႔ခဲ့ရတယ္။
He asked " Mom, what can I do for you?"
သူက "အေမ သားဘာလုပ္ေပးရမ လဲ" လို္႔ ေမးလိုက္တယ္။
Mom replied " Please install fans in the old age home as there are none. Also put a fridge for betterment of food because many times I slept without food."
အေမက ျပန္ေျပာတယ္" ေက်းဇူးျပဳၿပီး ဒီသက္ႀကီးရြယ္အိုအိမ ္မွာ ပန္ကာေတြတပ္ေပးပါ။ ဒီမွာ တစ္ခုမွမတပ္ထားဘူး။အစားအစာေတြပိုေကာင္းေအာင္ထား႐ွိဖို႔ ေရခဲေသတၱာလည္း ထားေပးပါ။ အစားမစားပဲ အေမအိပ္ခဲ့ရေပါင္းမ်ား ၿပီး။
The son was surprised and asked, " Mom, while you were here you never complained, but now you have few hours left and you are telling me all this, why?"
သားကအံ့ျသသြားၿပီး အေမကိုေမး လိုက္တယ္ " အေမရယ္ အရင္တုန္း ကေတာ့ တစ္ခါမွ မညည္းတြားပဲ အခုေနာက္ဆုံးအခ်ိန္ေရာက္မွ ဘာလို႔ ဒါေတြ႔ေျပာေနတာလဲ၊ ဘာျဖစ္လို႔လဲ။
Mom replied," It's ok dear. I've managed with the heat, hunger and pain, but when your children will send you here, I am afraid you will not be able to manage.
အေမက ျပန္ေျဖတယ္ "ရပါတယ္ သားရယ္။ အေမက အပူဒဏ္၊ ဆာေလာင္မႈ နဲ႔ နာက်င္မႈေတြကို ခံႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ သားရဲ႕ကေလးေတြက သားကို ဒီေနရာဆီ ပို႔လိုက္တဲ့အခ်ိန္ေရာက္ ္လာရင္ သားခံႏိုင္မွာမဟုတ္ပါဘူး။
Moral of the story:
Parents are always thinking for their children.
ပုံျပင္ေလးရဲ႕ သင္ခန္းစာ-
မိဘေတြက သူတို႔ရဲသားသမီးအတြက္ အျမဲစဥ္းစားေနၾကပါတယ္။
