Here I talk about money without debt, and how I see that crypto can accomplish this, plus I find Luke 1 time in CupOfTraffic.

Hi there and welcome to my vlog, my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz on Hive, CTPtalk and DTube.

Money Without Debt - Can Crypto Solve This? - And If So How?

So most of us know that Fiat currency is printed by issuing debt, no Fiat currency is in circulation without being backed by debt, even if a very small part of what central banks print is backed by gold, but the very vast majority is just printed through debt.

Now we look at crypto and see that coins and tokens are not printed by issueing debt, not any that I know of anyways, however they still get their value by being traded with debt backed Fiat currencies.

So what I want to look at here is how to remove Fiat currency as a factor when valueing crypto currency, and I have narrowed it down to 3 points, though it might be even more complicated than that.

Defi, which is decentralized finance, and something that is currently growing a lot, they remove Fiat from the equation by trading in crypto.
Commerce, the buying and selling of products and services using crypto to pay with, this gives crypto value through what goods and services are bought with it.
Taxes, paying taxes in crypto without exchanging them to Fiat, this removes the need for Fiat currency all together.

I very much suspect that the last point will be the hardest to accomplish, and that governments will fight hard before they allow taxes to be paid in crypto, but if it can be done then crypto has basically removed any need of Fiat and the debt that comes with it.
