They say saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do.

It isn’t. At least not when it comes to daily chores. To being a slave.

For weeks now I have forced myself trying to write daily for the sake of having some content. The truth is it isn’t natural or of any standard I myself stand behind.

It’s done just for the sake of some AFIT.

It’s half-arsed.

No, it’s fake. Fake and nothing I am proud of or stand behind. It’s even not down my alley or anything I topically care about. With the exception of the odd post, maybe one every other week in a good quarter, I have long stopped blogging on a personal level.

By which I mean for more than a decade already, at least.

I don’t want to be that person who submits content, with the aim of earning something, just for the sake of earning something... because it is some type of proof.

It isn’t who I am.

It isn’t what I do.

It isn’t what I endorse, advocate or am proud of. It doesn’t represent me, or my writing, at all. There’s nothing to be had from it either but down pressure being able to say that I got whatever share I deserved.

It doesn’t matter and there’s nobody who benefits from it either. Nobody but everybody who just loves collecting yet MOAR of each token. that’s the sole purpose.

There’s no pride in it and the lack of effort isn’t necessarily why democratizing the information gateway was always a main focus.

It’s even not as good as your average shitpost.

It’s just #theshitlist.

Time to stop being a slave of #dailyramblefit. Time to go back to what I do best: post less and when post with more thought. Or at the very least about topics I care about.

And when I throw another #ramblefit, I will actually truly want to post about it that day. Not just for a constant flux of tokens.

No.
