Does anyone know the name of this alpine flower? I have a major crush on it. Every time I saw one, I had to stop and look at its "tentacles" and the delicate dew drops they host inside.
Last summer, I often ran into it across the Alps from Italy, Switzerland, Austria and France - but I have never seen this flower in any other terrain. It reminds me so much of the sea anemones (if you are into scuba diving, you know what I am talking about), so i'm calling it "Alpine Sea Anemone" until further notice... I hope I don't get arrested by the flower police. What do you think?
