Hello friends, I hope you are very well, today I want to bring you a new drawing, this time of the most dangerous race in outer space, The Predator, a hunting race known as the Yautja and that hunt prey for sport, including human beings. The character in my drawing is the predator Wolf, he is one of my favorite predators since he has a great style, a unique mask, weapons like whips, a power gauntlet and two plasma cannons that become one. This drawing is made of black cardboard with prismacolor premier colors. Hope you like.
Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy quiero traerles un nuevo dibujo, esta vez del la raza más peligrosa del espacio exterior, El Predator, raza cazadora conocida como los Yautja y que cazan presas por deporte, incluyendo seres humanos. El personaje de mi dibujo es el predator Wolf, es uno de mis depredadores favoritos ya que tiene un gran estilo, una máscara única, armas como látigos, un guantelete de poder y dos cañones de plasma que se convierten en uno solo. Este dibujo está realizado cobre cartulina de color negro con colores prismacolor premier. Espero que les guste.
PROCESS
To draw on dark paper, our best friend is white, and it is also the one that fades the fastest. We start this drawing with a very simple sketch of the predator's face, it is not necessary to cover so many details, we just have to make sure that the lines are loose and that we have the defined shape, as we paint everything will come out by itself. We go little by little filling the interior with soft strokes, and those parts where the light is stronger we make the stroke deeper.
PAra dibujar en papel oscuro nuestro mejor amigo es el color blanco, y también el que más rápido se gasta. Este dibujo lo comenzamos con un boceto muy sencillo del rostro del predator, no es necesario abarcar tantos detalles, solo debemos profurar que las lineas sean sueltas y que tengamos la forma definida, a medida que vayamos pintando todo saldrá por sí solo. Vamos poco a poco rellenando el interior con trazos suaves, y aquellas partes donde la luz sea mas fuerte hacemos el trazo más profundo.
After painting the inner part of the helmet white, we make some very interesting details of this helmet which consist of inscriptions in Yautja language that are on the front of the helmet, in the same way we will leave space to be able to paint the effects of the battles since this predator is an elite hunter who is retired. To help in lighting we will combine light blue, dark blue and violent colors, this mixture will help us better in the light spectrum.
Luego de pintar con color blanco la parte interna del casco, hacemos unos detalles muy interesantes de este casco el cual consisten unas inscripciones en lenguaje yautja que estan en la parte frontal del casco, de la misma forma dejaremos especio para poder pintar los efectos de las batallas ya que este predator es un cazador de élite que ta esta retirado. Para ayudar en la iluminacion combinaremos colorres azules claros, azul oscuro y violenta, esta mezcla nos ayudará mejor en el espectro de luz.
Now, although it seems redundant, we are going to use the black color for the shadows, in this we will almost paint the left side, which is where most of the shadows are, we will also paint the part of the eyes and, most importantly, draw the blows of the battles that has had, for example the 3 xenomorph claws marked on the front of the biomask, as well as the other blows.
Ahora, aunque parezca redudante vamos a utilizar el color negro para las sombras, en este casi pintaremos el lado izquierdo que es donde esta la mayor parte de sombras, tambien pintaremos la parte de los ojos y lo más importante dibujar los golpes de las batallas que ha tenido, como por ejemplo las 3 garras de xenomorfo marcadas en la parte frontal de la biomáscara, así tambien los demás golpes.
Finishing the drawing we will make the final details such as the laser, which cannot be missing, also the dreadlocks that give it that tribal and fearsome appearance, and also the laser cannon on one side and finally the sharp cochillas. With the black color we can improve the details that we did previously in order to be more faithful to the design of this mask, in this way we will have finished.
Finalizando el dibujo haremos los detalles finales como el laser, que no puede faltar, tambien los dreadlocks que le dan ese aspecto tribal y temible, y tambien el cañón laser a un costado y por último las afiladas cochillas. Con el color negro podemos mejores los detalles que hicimos anteriormente para así ser mas fieles al diseño de esta máscara, de esta manera habremos terminado.
FINAL WORK
This is how the predator Wolf has been drawn on black cardboard, this is one of the designs that I liked the most, it came out in Alien vs. Predator part 2 and although the movie was not great, the monsters were up to the task. Así ha quedado dibujado el predator Wolf en cartulina negra, este es uno de los diseños que mas me ha gustado, salion en Alien vs Depredador parte 2 y aunque la película no fue la gran cosa, los monstruos estuvieron a la altura.
