Hello friends, last week I made a drawing of the Joker so now it's the dark knight's turn. I have made a drawing of Batman starring Ben Afleck, a Batman who passed unnoticed where we could not see him fully developed. However, in my opinion it is one of the best, especially since it is based on Frank Miller's Batman and the comic The Dark Knight Returns, one of the great gems of comics. This drawing is made in gray fabriano catrulina with Faber Castell school color pencils, I hope you like it.
Hola amigos, la semana pasada hice un dibujo del Joker así que ahora le toca al caballero de la noche. He realizado un dibujo de Batman protagonizado por Ben Afleck, un Batman que pasó sin pena ni gloria donde no pudimos verlo desarrollado por completo. Sin embargo, a mi parecer es uno de los mejores, especialmente porque está basado en el Batman de Frank Miller y el comic El Caballero de la Noche Regresa, una de las grandes joyas de los comics. Este dibujo está hecho en catrulina fabriano color gris con lápices de color Faber Castell escolares, espero les guste.
PROCESS
The first step after cutting the paper that we will use to draw, is to make a quick and easy sketch of Batman's face. The sketch must be done with all the lines of expression, the lines of the suit, the mask and the muscles of the neck. Then little by little we will model using other colors. The face is painted light gray and also white. After that, we start casting the shadows with a dark brown color.
El primer paso luego de cortar el papel que usaremos para dibujar, es hacer un boceto rápido y facil del rostro de Batman. El boceto debemos hacerlo con todas las líneas de expresión, las líneas del traje, la máscara y los músculos del cuello. Luego poco a poco iremos modelando usando otros colores. El rostro lo pintamos de color gris claro y tambien color blanco. Despues de eso, comenzamos a moldear las sombras con un color marron oscuro.
Then we will begin to apply light gray, dark gray, dark brown and finally black. In this order we will do all the details of the mask and part of the neck muscles. Let's remember that this Batman has a more intimidating appearance than the previous ones, so we must try to get that effect on the face.
Despues comenzaremós a aplicar color gris claro, color gris oscuro, marrón oscuro y por último negro. En este orden haremos todos los detalles de la mascara y parte de los músculos del cuello. Recordemos que este Batman tiene una apariencia más intimidante que los anteriores, así que debemos tratar de sacar ese efecto en el rostro.
The next step is to make the part of the face that is uncovered. Batman's mouth and chin, first we use a light flesh color, with this color we paint the entire area, then with a light pastel color we lighten and with a light brown color we begin to make the shadows of the lips, we apply color 3 times, then with dark brown color we establish the contrast of the light in this area.
El siguiente paso es hacer la parte del rostro que esta descubierta. La boca y la barbilla de Batman, primero utilizamos un color carne claro, con este color pintamos toda la zona, despues con un color pastel claro aclaramos y con un color café claro comenzamos a hacer las sombras de los labios, aplicamos color 3 veces, despues con color marrón oscuro establecemos el contraste de la luz en esta zona.
To finish, we take a brush and blur the entire area of the drawing, including the mask and the chin. With this we will mix the colors, and reapply the same layers of colors that we did at the beginning. We blur once more and with a white color we are going to highlight the parts of the mask that receive light reflections, as well as part of the muscles of the neck and the suit. In this way we will have finished the drawing.
Para finalizar tomamos un pincel y difuminamos toda la zona del dibujo, incluyendo la máscara y la barbilla. Con esto mezclaremos los colores, y volvemos a aplicar las mismas capas de colores que hicimos al principio. Difuminamos una vez más y con un color blanco vamos a resaltar las partes de la mascara que reciben reflejos de luz, así también parte de los músculos del cuello y el traje. De esta manera habremos terminado el dibujo.
FINAL WORK
This is how this drawing of the Knight of the Night has been. The last detail was to take better care of the exposed parts of the face because it is the most realistic part, so I put a lot of effort into making the skin very well. Así ha quedado este dibujo del Caballero de la Noche. Los últimos detalle fue cuidar mejor las partes que está descubierta del rostro por que es la parte que más realismo tiene así que le puse mucho empeño en hacer muy bien la piel.
