I could not see it because in my country it would not look very good but I saw some photos on the net and I was delighted. That is why I have drawn a blood moon and I want to show you the process. I hope you like it.
Hola amigos espero que se encuentren muy bien, no se si supieron que hace días atrás hubo un eclipse lunar. No pude verlo porque en mi país no se vería muy bien peo vi algunas fotos en la red y quedé encantado. Es por eso que he dibujado una luna de sangre y quiero mostrarles el proces. Espero les guste.
Process
On a black cardboard we draw a circle and with the white color we begin to fill in to make the surface of the moon, as the surface of the moon is an irregular terrain full of craters we must be creative to give way to the shadows that will become in those craters, so smooth tracing is what we need to do.
Sobre una cartulina negra dibujamos un círculo y con el color blanco comenzamos a rellenar para hacer la superficie de la luna, como la superficie de la luna es un terreno irregular lleno de cráteres debemos ser creativos para dar paso a las sombras que se convertirá en esos cráteres, así que lo que tenemos que hacer es un trazado suave.
Then we use pastel white pencil that will help us to give more shine to certain parts of the moon's surface. While we leave the upper surface undrawn to create the effect that it is being hidden.
Luego utilizamos lapiz blanco pastel que nos ayudará a darle mas brillo a ciertas parte de la superficie de la luna. Mientras que dejamos la superficie superior sin dibujar para crear el efecto de que se está ocultando.
To make the effect of blood we start by painting with light orange color, and gently make strokes over the white color, then we darken the tones with the red color range, and where necessary we use the black color to reinforce the shadows in contrast to the light.
Para hacer el efecto de sangre comenzamos pintando con color naranja claro, y suavemente haces trazos encima del color blanco, luego vamos oscureciendo los tonos con la gama de colores rojo, y donde amerite usamos el color negro para reforzar las sombras en contraste con la luz.
Final Work
This is how the final work has been left, to give the last details we go back to review each color using the same process, in this way we improve details such as the craters of the moon and the leftovers that are seen on the surface. I hope you liked it, while I was drawing it I also thought of drawing the moon very soon but with the blue sky as seen in broad daylight. Así ha quedado el trabajo final, para dar los ultimos detalles volvemos a repasar cada color utilizando el mismo proceso, de esta manera mejoramos detalles como los cráteres de la luna y las sobras que se ven en la superficie. Espero que les haya gustado, mientras la dibujaba tambien pensé en dibujar la luna muy pronto pero con el cielo azul como se ve a plena luz del día. La luna es una regalo maravilloso del universo que podremos contemplar siempre. Me despido hasta pronto, que la pasen muy bien en su fin de semana.
