We have these amazing caterpillars munching on our parsley plants in the garden!
They are called Black Swallowtails, one of our most common and most studied swallowtails.
Some consider black swallowtails to be pests because they can each entire herb gardens (they like carrots, parsley, dill, and fennel), but they do turn into beautiful butterflies!
