Yes, if anyone is interested... please follow my blog at: www.5dog.farm. I also have a private Facebook page for those interested in Homesteading. See the top of the blog to join ♥

The rice makes it heavy and it conforms nicely to the area where it lays. We have dogs and I figured if I just used fleece or stuffing they would use it as a "toy". We are getting a woodstove

How fortunate. My grams lived with us so she was able to pass on things like sewing and canning. She did bake bread but typical kid... the outside called and off I went. I'm learning how now though.

LOL! I hadn't thought of that but I love that group!

LOL! Yes, 5 chicken farm is hilarious! I understand why you are waiting. We have traveled from California to Kentucky to Nevada to Wisconsin and finally... to Tennessee to settle down and buy the land.

Sorry for the delayed response. I am still getting the hang of Steemit... for now - I'm a bit slow. Yes, we have 5 dogs (with hopes for more). So the answer is yes and yes. 5 dogs and the name of the farm.

Looks like you had a wonderful time catching up with all your friends! We must've missed you by a few hours. Happened to be up in Wisconsin yesterday...small world indeed!! Safe travels!

Gorgeous brick work! Love the car window motor idea.♥

It really was. I miss my Grams a lot! All is still in storage but when I get all my possessions out (it's been 7 MONTHS) I'll pass along that recipe :)

No... I've been off Steemit for a bit. So much was going on I just couldn't keep up but the dust is settling, so to speak, I'll post a pic soon!

I made one of the DIY wonder bags. Don't waste your time or fabric. Total failure. I am a capable sewer so I am confident it wasn't me. You are correct, this is a better purchase than DIY. We will be buying

Those buns look amazing! You are quite a bread artisan.

My favorite food in the whole world is sourdough. I could live on that and extra sharp cheese (ok, and red wine). At the moment my situation doesn't allow me to make yummy things like bread or Kombucha

I saw you on @mountainjewel and love your screen name so I just had to follow! Tomato soup of any kind is a fav of mine. This one sound fabulous. I agree it's a lot of work but I don't really like tomato

Sadly the feed cut off so I will guess with the stories I heard. I'd say the monk story is not true. This was fun!

My Grams used to grow this in pots. I laughed when I read this because she always "warned" me about how it could take over. This being said, it's exactly what we need for erosion control around

Loretta looks quite proud of herself LOL! Isn't it fun finding all these hidden treasures? We just had some dozer work done and I found an arrowhead. I was SO excited. I'm told we may have quite a few

Your flowers are gorgeous! I just love violets. My grams grew them and we would candy them, which is exactly what I plan to do when I plant them in our forest area. Beautiful photos.

That will require a bit more than paint...

I like #4 & 5. Five looks like melted Rocky Road ice cream to me... or maybe I’m in need of dessert!
