The rice makes it heavy and it conforms nicely to the area where it lays. We have dogs and I figured if I just used fleece or stuffing they would use it as a "toy". We are getting a woodstove

How fortunate. My grams lived with us so she was able to pass on things like sewing and canning. She did bake bread but typical kid... the outside called and off I went. I'm learning how now though.

I made one of the DIY wonder bags. Don't waste your time or fabric. Total failure. I am a capable sewer so I am confident it wasn't me. You are correct, this is a better purchase than DIY. We will be buying

My favorite food in the whole world is sourdough. I could live on that and extra sharp cheese (ok, and red wine). At the moment my situation doesn't allow me to make yummy things like bread or Kombucha

I saw you on @mountainjewel and love your screen name so I just had to follow! Tomato soup of any kind is a fav of mine. This one sound fabulous. I agree it's a lot of work but I don't really like tomato

Your flowers are gorgeous! I just love violets. My grams grew them and we would candy them, which is exactly what I plan to do when I plant them in our forest area. Beautiful photos.
