Oh dear Santa,
Can you see what’s going on? This year has had it all; from staring at BTC dance around $700 and aim to hit $1000 before trying to beat Gold. There was a buzz even on TV! That thing called bitcoin was now worth more than an ounce of gold.
Funny thing is I didn’t even have $100 to spare when BTC was $700 so I’m not even pained that I couldn’t get in. Heck I didn’t even have $50 to spare when BTC was $50! So I can rightfully console myself and be at peace in the fact that it wasn’t a case of me not believing in bitcoin. Easy to say when you didn’t put money in yeah?
No look back can be complete without Steem in the picture. What would I have done without you dear Steem. Especially during those strange days when the naira was ridiculously ridiculous and was trading against the dollar at 500:1. That ride to $3 to be honest, wasn’t as exciting as the moment my vote could give out $0.01. Then I was able to grow to $0.02 before some hardfork came along and took the fun out of it all. Some of us enjoy the chase okay?
What about those rare sbd pumps? The ones where the sbd that should be going for $1 starts to hover around $3. You know I thought the same thing was about to happen a few days ago so once it hit $3, I cleared my stock. If only I had known that lightning doesn’t strike in the same spot twice, I’d have been more prepared. It’s crazy!
My new found hobby is watching the exchanges so once again, I rarely relate with the “outside world”. I’d have to run now but let me leave you with something that has kept me going because I believe even you, Santa, can still be motivated by me. It’s why I write you these letters; not to ask for stuff although technically I did ask for stuff in my first letter to you.
Regret nothing, son. The best is yet to come.
