Darut Island is the name given by local residents, the island has been located since 1945, but in that year only a small landform, the 1980s the island grew so large that local residents travel to the island, but the year 2004 destroyed in the terpa tsunami and now this is the condition left only as a pile of small land, the island lies within the region of the lhokseumawe pit.
