I would imagine that the bittrex meetings would including consulting with the fbi, maybe the sec,and of course their own attorneys about what to legally do as custodians of stolen property. Probably going to cost bittrex tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in consulting fees just to do the right thing. The US certainly has jurisdiction over the South Koreans, Ned Scott, Justyy, and Sun Yuchen. If they take action against Justin sun, it could commence the beginning of the end of him and his many scams. Whether of not the FBI has the forensic skills to understand what is really happening is concerning, but the more that is published the better to compensate for any technological barriers.

With all of this drama and shenanigans, I wouldn't be surprised if multiple exchanges don't just delist steem. The media has been eerily silent on just what happens, full coverage of the attack would be like an earth quake hitting the cryptosphere-and investors would run from Tron and its many subsidiaries. In terms of news this is a big juicy t-bone steak [to a carnivore] or a story, and you can hear crickets chirping.

Steem likely had something else planned too called "new steem". There was a lot of buying activity prior to what ought to have been a value destroying hard fork-no one in their right mind would buy a crypto that's pulling off that unless they were in control and knew what was going on. I would say that they wanted to rush to release it and purge the large critics instead of waiting another 30 days and let nature take its course. Perhaps they were going to use their stolen funds to incentive new [butt] kissers or reward other tron subsidiaries-which now they can no longer do.

I wonder what will become of @darthknight 's steem. bittrex, i believe, now has his funds from the phishing account. He's likely going to have to let bittrex know.

I also have concerns since they talked about seizing accounts, and if the keys of the 64 affected people have been compromised through the HF. looks like @berniesanders is still using his account on steem, but who really knows what kind of information steemit has about our keys.
