My favorite faucets, pokebits and satoshi wars, are becoming like the infamous norwegian blue of monty python lore. They are ceasing to be next month. For a faucet they supplied a decent amount of btc for little effort, Nothing much, but from the comment section it sounds like it was important to the people of Venezuela. The more comfort they have the less likely they are to rebel-obviously the downfall of one faucet site won't lead to war. It would be nice if there was a new owner, but i guess that isn't the case. The current owner has a family now, and explains that he doesn't have time.
Why
For those of you who don't know, I became a father and a husband late last year. These 2 events are life changing, and ended up taking up a whole lot of my daily free time which is now dedicated to raising a family above all else....What I'm about to say is probably one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. After giving this a lot of thought and sleepless nights I've decided that I won't be able to continue operating the Faucet Gaming Network due to lack of time to dedicate to them.
Click here for the full news release. As you will notice, the faucethub site will still remain operational.
When: may 5th seems to be the last day. I would withdraw at least a day before then per time zone issues.
who/what are affected:
FaucetGame
GameFaucet
PokeBits
SatoshiWars
FreeBTCMine
BlockFaucet
CryptoRacers
VirtualPub
CryptoWarfare
RainPool
Withdrawel amounts have been reduced. Much of it looks like it was reduced by 80%, but i am not sure how much it varies site per site.
There's no need to worry as each of my sites will have their withdraw limits significantly lowered and daily limits removed, to allow you to withdraw your complete balances in full to your FaucetHub account like usual [[assuming] May 5th].
Luckily
FAUCETHUB.IO IS NOT CLOSING
and faucethub may be further developed
Ok, now for the good news: this means that I'll have all the time I have to dedicate to making FaucetHub a better place by adding more features, more popular cryptocurrencies, and all sorts else.
The more currencies options sounds interesting. I am sure many who do phone farming may want to see what the new features would be.
