If you manage to visit Munich, a trip to Freising Cathedral alongside a traditional bavarian lunch with a proper beer from the oldest active brewery in the world (Weihenstephan, from year 1040) is much advised!

Other similar sites worth mentioning and visiting also food-wise: Andechs monastery, Ayinger brewery, Erdinger brewery.
