Hello, good Monday, today I bring you the tight dress mold. Sizes range from 36 to 56, with their respective colors.
As always, the measurements that are in the pen are those that are not modified, no matter the size.
The same happens in the rear mold.
Before they cut the fabric, I want to clarify something, I added a clamp in the front mold (as seen in the image), this is not something that you have to follow to the letter.
In the case of the back mold, also add a clamp, but this way the garment fits much more. So if you want to make it, the measurements are 35.5 cm long and 3.5 cm wide.
The bust clamp must have a depth of 12.0 cm, this will serve as a guide to better locate it.
As I already have this finished dress, I show you how the mold should go on the fabric, remember to leave 1.0 cm of seam allowance.
Once we cut the fabric, the first thing we have to do is sew the darts, the ones corresponding to the bust are mandatory, the other two are optional.
At the back, the central clamp is to place the closure, I will show you later, the other two clamps are optional. Remember that these tweezers fit even more the dress.
Well, now we sew a front shoulder with a back one and we make the neck, remember that I make the neck by debugging the fabric and passing the straight. You don't have to do it like this, you can sew it in the way you like best. In addition to the collar, I also sewed one of more "sleeves" in the same way.
This is how the tweezers should look, seen from the inside.
When we have both shoulders sewn and the hem of the sleeves ready, we go to the closure. For this, they measure what closure they are going to place and mark it from the center of the back neck down. Then they cut the fabric, position the closure and sew it straight.
In the previous image, we see how the closure is placed, in this image, you can see how it looks once it is sewn. Also, I added a button, but it is up to everyone's taste.
Finally, we sew the sides and the hem. In this case I added an ornament to the bottom of the dress.
