It's that time of our lives when we get to elect our representatives. It's okay to cheer for someone at the national level (if that's what you want to do) but important to keep in mind that ultimately it's the local MPs and the MLAs that are accountable for development and growth of your respective constituencies.
The best office in a democracy is that of a citizen. You can exercise your franchise and elect the person who can do good for all and also bring everyone down. So do your due diligence keeping aside prejudices and bias. Make a rational choice if you can.
More importantly, irrespective of your ideology or voting preferences, please make an attempt to reach the correct voting booth and exercise your right. We get this chance once in 5 years and we must not let it go wasted if we can utilise it.
It's a pity that many people won't be able to do that do their names missing on the voters list but those of us who have our names on the list, must ensure we get out and vote.
This whole process may or may not bring any positive change but it's important to do our part for a democratic election process to take place.
Get out and get inked. Cheers!
