What a day eh?
These past few months have been crazy. Many new experts called it the end of the road when the last bear market began and yet here we are today, watching some of them come back and say things quite differently.
Depending on what exchange you are using, we're just a handful of numbers off the $10,000 mark. It's likely we'll cross that figure in the next few hours.
Markets keep going through cycles and i'm excited to see where this one takes us from here. However, STEEM isn't doing extremely well compared to other cryptos but i'm glad we are somewhat steady around $0.40 cents. Nothing great but it could've been worse.
The last few days have renewed interest in crypto from many of my friends. Especially since the Libra announcement many of my friends who otherwise would've preferred to stay away thinking this space is a kind of ponzi scam are asking questions.
I've been upto my neck in answering them. It's a bit crazy. People will soon FOMO into purchasing BTC as well as it continues charging towards it's previous ATH and some things will repeat once again such as a bull run and a bearish market thereafter. I've seen it before and more than once!
I've simply told my friends if you are interested in Bitcoin, don't worry about the price too much. Buy a minimal amount like $20 worth and learn to use the exchange etc. Invest a few weeks, atleast 7-10 days spread over a month to learn all you can about blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Then you can start speculating or anything else you like in this space to do. You can join Steem and use a blockchain everyday as part of your social media activities as well. The list of things one can do in this space is pretty big now.
Steem has a long way to go before making any big moves towards mainstream adoption. But as far as the price goes hopefully with Bitcoin moving up in price we can only hope it catches up.
The final interesting bit that I came across recently was this report that said that Bitcoin is the eighth largest currency in the world.
Before I end the post, the chart on https://moonmath.win looks good or what? I feel like a small correction is due though but after that things will get quite interesting as we make way to previous ATH.
You can read about Moonmath in my previous post here and here's my screenshot from about 6 months ago.
Let's hope STEEM goes up as well. Fingers crossed!
If you like my work kindly resteem it to your friends. You may also continue reading my recent posts which might interest you:
