Good morning arrives not all at once but in small, gentle moments after waking up. The body is slow, the mind still drifting between dreams and day. Good Morning

My eyes open to the sun's light, The room still holding onto night. The clock ticks low, the air feels new, A day begins without a cue. The bed feels warm, the floor feels cold, My food pillow, I want to hold. I stretch, I yawn, I sit upright, Still half asleep, still not quite right. Thoughts drift slow, then start to form, This day seems calm, no chaos like a storm. Dreams slip out without a sound, As morning settles all around. Outside hums a distant tone, A world awake beyond my own. Birds announce the break of day, Reminding me I’m on my way. I breathe in deep, I breathe out long, Finding where I now belong. No rush yet, no need to run, Just quiet time before it’s done. Good morning said, I softly heard, Oh wait, that's a tweet from a bird.
