I'd like to share this pen drawing of two young cubs of a lion and tiger I made earlier today. The drawing depicts a bond and friendship between both cubs regardless of the fact that they are both not the same animals.
I made this drawing using a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are my steps in the drawing;
First, I drew the outline of both cubs and different the young tiger from the young lion with the stripes on the tiger. I also added their facial features in this stage.
Next, I began to shade and add fur details to the skin of the young tiger.
Finally, I shaded and added fur details to the young lion's skin. I also drew some grasses around to depict a field/grassland.
