To begin my day, I made this pen drawing of a snail which is also regarded as a Mollusc (group of small animals without limbs and with shells on their back). Most molluscs are noctural animals, tgat is they are very active at night and they do feed on fruits and vegetables.
I used a black ball point pen and pelican paper for this drawing. Here are the steps involved.
First of all, I drew the outline of the snail on a flat surface and shaded its underneath.
Next, I added some details to its body and also shaded and added tones to it.
Finally, I shaded and added details to its shell until the drawing looked appealing.
